As you guys know, or about to know, Vetex is adding Guilds (AKA PvE clans) to the game. How many of your clans are going to disband for Guilds instead?
I am gonna remove my Clan for a guild, Namely Mitsugoshi Trading Co., it seems very sensible for me to delete it and make a guild instead. (It has less than 10k infamy)
Would the reverse be true? If the PVE option wins for the wiki clan poll vote, but if there’s a large enough group wanting the PvP option, I’m planning to split the clan in twain, but if you can convert guilds to clans, I’d just have to switch it back later down the line.
I feel like we should get clan alliances along with guilds. This would probably make Sam’s idea half doable, with guilds being able to hire clans to protect them
I’m basically just planning to cut an existing clan into two and forcibly conjoin them back together if the community doesn’t agree on what clan type to solely use
I get that, though if Vetex doesn’t allow us to do that, I feel like clan alliances would allow you to redirect the PvE part of your clan to a dedicated guild (or the opposite) and then ally the existing clan and the new guild
This is purely theoratical for a distant future, but imagine clans having embassies on their allies’ islands whenever we get very large claimable islands

I’ll only post it after we know most of everything about guilds though. Also I’m not entirely comfortable posting stuff that regards a more distant future (I could only see this happen in two or more seas)
