It may just be me but I still havent seen ONE, apparently somebody told me crystal was a better earth but I aint believing it
even with earth being as strong as it is right now due to multiplicative size stacking and pulsar (the strongest it has ever been and will ever be in the franchise) people still donāt really run it
I did have it but i went juggernaut so
I saw this guy named Cernyx once but that was about it.

I have about 200 hours in AO, played with plenty of people, teaming up with randoms for ship sinking, fishing, that kinda thing. The magics I have not seen on any player are:
Wood
Earth
Acid
Snow
These four seem to be rather unpopular, though Acid is likely a personal bias, I rarely see anyone mention having these magics, especially Wood and Earth. It all comes down to āappealā. Throwing rocks at people is just never going to be as cool as something like plasma.

earth magic my beloved 
started using it in AR after 1.1 came out, I loved it there so i decided to make a file using it in AO a good while before the game was out.

Earth is strong, but metal and crystal are just stronger

I found one who saved me from a syndicate rker
He was part of the grand navy and used sandstone earth with glass magic
Once he killed the guy we talked and then we killed dame cassenia together until I reached max level
He said he picked it because he used it in AA
Also, @ArthurKingsman sorry for the ping but he probably uses earth magic

Why choose earth when you have metal? Bleeds starts at 10% like hallo? sooo much better. Stats are nearly identical, Lastly, synergies. Metal synergises with crystal and frozen to shatter them.

Me, an absolute hipster:
Jokes aside, even my saves use wood and earth for aesthetic-based gimmicks, like āChuck Stone throws rocks (and cannonballs)ā or ā(The closest I can get to a direct self-insert) uses wood and wooden weaponsā
Other than that, Acid and Snow are very, very niche aesthetically, which I think is the biggest reason why you havenāt seen either of those
