Hazard Based FS Concept | Seismic Fist

A fighting style that encourages you to play around terrain and defense
Hitting the ground with a move will create spikes based on the terrain around you cuz ur literally tearing up the ground. Spikes will block projectiles and deal damage to both u and ur enemy.
Procs bleed
Ranged attacks do less damage towards terrain (shot, axe slash)

In all seriousness, you should be able to carve up different rocks depending on technique type used, such as:
Crash and Smash:Regular Spike
Airstep:Coil-shaped rock.
Rushdown:A Shield-Shaped rock that makes you projectile-proof from the front. (likely changeable which side it protects in technique settings)
Shot:Shoots out Physics-affected rocks, similar to those of Seismic Slash, performing another shot on a rock-midair causes you to parry, and propels the rock to light magic levels of projectile speed, increasing damage in addition.
Focus:While in the middle of the casting animation, surround yourself with a rock barrier to protect yourself from behind and front, or left and right, probably changeable in the technique settings.
Selino:Kick small rocks at people when performing slashes, the final slash spawns a defensive earth spike to protect you from the front.
Axe Slash:The Axe Slash spawns a Cernyx-esque Earth Spike at your target, causing them to be flung and take damage, procs bleed if it dealt more than 5% of the target’s max health.

Uppercut:When performing the final punch in the combo, spawn a earth spike that will impale your target.

Performing moves on the ground will give you damage absorption in the form of a rock shield? I’m digging it
Encourages more heavy attacks with less attack speed due to wanting start lag and encourages intensity with less airstalling
