Headless Head Suggestion + Weapon Changes

First up, Headless Head:

  • Make it an option under “Torso” image

Those who own the badge will have an option “Head” visible, when toggled off it’ll make the head invisible. I’m suggesting this because it’ll allow us to have more options when customizing our character.

I could easily have a black scarf cover up my neck but I’m unable to do so since the item takes up a slot.

Next up, Weapons:

Before you get any bright ideas, I can wipe the floor with anyone in PvP.

  • Revert the startup times and endlag changes on throwable weapons and bows.

Nerfing the damage by 40% was alright, even I didn’t mind it as a weapons main, but increasing startup times and endlag is overkill.

As we all know Dual Daggers are basically horrid, we wanted it’s damage nerfed but we didn’t want it to be un-fucking-usable.

These changes actually made it impossible to become a weapons main, I’m literally only able to use a Bow because of it’s rapid-fire, and a Oathkeeper as a finisher (normally used if both me and my target are low).

What’s more annoying is that a magic’s base damage does around x2.5 (100 base damage if using wind) more than weapons (40 base damage if using a bow), alright cool that’s fair but magic-users being able to use 10 single blasts in like what, 3 seconds? Also, draining little to no magic energy? Oh, and arrows and throwables being vaporized when in contact to the newly sized blasts?

Bruh, before the update it was me pressuring dogs and now it’s me getting pressured by dogs but the difference is - is that they still get wiped, it wasn’t the weapons being the problem bro.

You should’ve made 2 separate suggestions

why should the headless head be different from any other accessory
wouldn’t it be a better solution just to add another accessory slot in this case?
the head is only meant to be a neat event accessory anyways

yeah I agree that the startup on daggers should be reverted,
even for weapon mains they became entirely unusable
the rest are mostly fine as of now

Nah, spears and stuff didn’t deserve the nerf. Spears should’ve stayed the same, so should’ve single dags etc. Dual daggers were the only thing everyone was complaining about

The headless thing seems practical but it’s way too much to add an entire UI option only for a limited accessory that a very small percent of the community will have later. It’s just an accessory after all.
Just add more accessory slots specifically for vanity like dragon said (no we don’t need more amulet slots for stats)

Can’t say anything about weapons, I don’t really use them nor do PvP.

the headless accessory shouldn’t be a whole UI option, i think it’s best off as an accessory. it just doesn’t seem practical for an accessory like this to be turned into an option since later on there will be only a small percentage of the playerbase that has this item

The headless head isn’t like the torso removal, as the torso option just makes it so the TORSO of your vanity armor is replaced with your clothes. Hiding your head entirely does not fit into those basic options. It’s better to keep as a vanity item

Now in terms of weapon changes:
You phrase a lot of this as though you’re insecure about these changes, which is perhaps understandable because you’re infamous for being a weapon main, but ending your post with “I still win I just have to play differently” isn’t exactly convincing anyone.

I do agree however that the damage and startup/endlag nerfs together are probably a bit much. Having drastically less damage AND losing what made that damage so good in the first place ruined a lot of weapons. Likewise, dual dagger’s main nerf should have been to it’s damage and endlag, NOT to the start up. Yes they were dumb, but gutting them entirely isn’t better.

In terms of damage, you also make a fair point as well as something I had pointed out in the tester channel. With my build, I do 185 damage with Shadow on my 100% blasts and i’m not even a full glass cannon. Bows do significantly less (maybe 80-100 at most with a glass cannon), need to be aimed, and at the end of the day will fire about as fast. Furthermore, weapons like the Oathkeeper got their damage gutted so hard that even WITH a dedicated build they struggle to compare to what they were before. Yes, when it first came out it was absolutely busted, but after losing both the ability to delete projectiles and it’s damage output from range, it just doesn’t compare anymore.
