I want to make a build that increases my health regen drastically. the purpose of this is so i can heal mid fort castrum and quickly jump back in.
However i do not know the best way to go around this because doesn’t health contribute towards your healing per tick?. Should i go full regen w 630 defense as the minimum or full defense? is there a perfect ratio?.
i could be making this up but i feel like i vaguely recall seeing a patch note saying this got changed to healing at a fixed rate regardless of max hp.
my current max-regen build isnt an actual max regen build, instead i use ‘other’ armor if the stats they give is more ‘worth’ it, aka pseudo max regen
so basically max regen, but instead of regen amulet i use oracle amulet
HP from defense does not increase regen per tick, only HP from the vitality stat (since regen is based on ‘base hp’, which vitality counts as but defense does not). Since Vitality’s HP increase is leaving next update, it’ll probably lose some of its tankiness and intrinsic regen.
This is the build I run on my Fire Paladin for fun, I can’t tell you if it’s any good since I don’t PvP or anything but I do like the survivability it has
while typing and comparing these two. I realised It seems aventurine gives you a greater health regen in combat. Its just that I don’t care about in combat regen, rather a build i can quickly don when im low health and out of combat to get my health back up asap.
