Would be cool if they done something similar to ar that you can collect candies to buy a variant of your magic (vanity only) and in this case it would be glass and sand maybe.

Then again, someone did once suggest that he could have made lenses in front of his eyes in order to see us from further away.
Even if he didn’t its clear that you can do some pretty intelligent things with the glass curse, and by extension probably the light curse too
