Not very good ones, but yes.
It’s Fire but with around half the cloud power of Poison.
I’m ngl that’s still kind of boring
Ash with a DoT
Yeah, although you kind of are downplaying it, it’s not a cool lost magic.
IMO ive never seen heat in use can’t judge, sounds good on paper, and ash magic could go well with it
Really? To me it sounded exactly as good on paper as it ended up being. It sounded conceptually identical to Plasma, and it was.
I dont remember plasma creating hazard clouds, but ok
Conceptually, not functionally.
i can’t judge it so i can only go based on paper (cause ive never seen it)
There are gifs on the AO wiki that I recorded in a very awkward spot for the boss to be at (inside somebody’s ship, because I couldn’t get any normal ones, he wouldn’t leave.)
school device fandom blocked i won’t be able to check for a while
fire does it too but it is originally fires gimmick i feel that it should have a higher form of burning if it is going to be a lost magic just for the sake of feeling even slightly more unique
What a weird way to start your career.
gon test welcome
who do i @ for the video
@Flayire ur buddy’s talkin about u
if we could see the normal blast shape it would probably look nicer, basically any gaseous or heat based magic looks much worse when it’s shaped into the phoenix or trident shape
Maybe if it looked less like a solid color and was a more wavy/loose form I’d like it more tbh
wind magic kind of gets it right but even then I’d like it to feel more free
my guess is that all of the sorta visually or mechanically underwhelming lost magics will get a retouch when they actually become obtainable to players
Yea that’s fair
I assume flare is an exception since it’s on a major character in the plot so that’s why it sticks out for now
I personally feel like heat magic would be cooler if it actively raised the temperature around you or something
create like a “burn radius” to really play into the zoner side of mage
