Heat magic is a joke ngl

I don’t think he said the dude is from america.

Then Vetex is on crack then lmao

The Seven Seas:
→ Where the Corpses of Zeus and Prometheus were
→ Where all the famous white people from before the Fracture were (Cursebeard, Theos)
→ Actually, everyone is clearly White European, and those who aren’t are Culturally Greek, (Savaria is Ptolemaic Egypt), with the only exceptions being the Arab Saburans and the Japanese people in the 6th Sea.

(Hold on… The War Seas is LITERALLY a ripoff of the Seven Seas, culture for culture.)

->Where Theos and Durza ended up, both were in the South of England
->Absolutely no Native American Cultures
→ The Pyramids are in the Seven Seas

Vetex: “It’s in North America”

I mean to be fair the fracture blasted off 20% of Earth’s mass vetex can easily get away with “it blew fractions of different continents far off into other ones”

The real life explanation is Vetex forgot the Arcane World was designed NOT to originally be on Earth, so when he tried adding Earth’s cultures and geography, it made the AU look so ass

Also trying my hardest to go on a rant about how the Visigoths being in the AU are the most mentally handicapped thing I’ve seen in my life…

If Rome was the first Civilization to have magic (It’s 100AD, so Rome already controls most of Europe)

Then how the FUCK did they still fall to Barbarian invasions? Atilla the Hun should have been a none issue, let alone the Gothic Migrations.

And the Medieval Age would NEVER happen, since Rome would realistically never fall, or IMMEDIATELY (so no Aurelian) fall into successor states led by Generals or Generals turned “Kings”. The Systems used by Rome would NEVER fall out of favor.

Feudalism would literally never happen if you have a civilization of Magic using people. All you need is 2 dudes proficient in Life Magic and you’re set dawg.

Vetex… stop this IRL shit ur trying to add to the AU it makes no sense…

(Edit: had to change map cuz realized it was a map of Rome with Trajan’s expansions in 117 AD)

the discussion here is long

The seven seas have electricity and lightbulbs

And why do you think the war seas don’t have them?

The idea that rome would still fall if it gained a monopoly on magic in 100 ad is just lmfao

The only way I see Rome falling in this scenario is internally, ie. powerful leaders are able to use magic to split the empire

Nah bro the visigoths are just really strong they’d win!!!11!

or the Greeks declare independence because they can easily kill everyone, shortly followed by the rest of Rome falling into civil war

Greeks by 100 AD would not really have that much of a will to secede.

I realistically only see the rebellious provinces coming from Egypt, and maybe the Romanized Celts in Gaul and Britannia but that’s a bit iffy

The greeks considered themselves roman though, to the point that they literally continued the existence of rome until 1453 as the byzantine (or eastern roman) empire

I dont mean every Greek person, but some guys gonna go mad with power after he learns to shoot fire from his hands

(cough cursebeard cough)

I have a very hard time believing that a few greek dudes with magic would solo the empire (who at that point probably also has magic soldiers)

never underestimate vetex writing

also I’m saying before everyone else gets magic

Damn thats unlucky, the first 3 dudes who get magic immediately want to overthrow the government and somehow don’t get stabbed (they’re not invincible)

Yeah but Athens during this time hosts it’s own Roman Legion, it would not take long for word to come back to Rome that Prometheus has escaped the Armenian Mountains and is teaching people how to throw fire beams at eachother

*Actually I stand corrected, Greece was such a non-rebellious province that by 100 AD it didnt even have it’s own legion mb (point still stands)
