(Greece was a core province)
If a few magic users manage to singlehandedly bring the entire 100 ad big bad roman empire completely burning down to the ground and somehow avoid dying to the roman army then im sorry vetex my suspension of disbelief is gone
this topic has gone to hell why are we talking about the Roman empire
this forum truly is 80% men
The roman empire in the AU was being held up by sticks and gum
Fr they legit considered themselves so roman they fucking became rome for the next thousand years after the fall of the west, greece wasn’t just loyal to rome, they WERE rome
Idk I got mad at the lore changes then i remembered general valaerii (or whatever his name is) had the armor of Aurelian, which implies the crisis of the third century occured, which then made me realize that the update also released VISIgoth armor (which implies the goths took francia, and rome fell)
Which led me to thinking,
“HOW THE FUCK DID ROME LOSE???”
tbf the romans considered themselves greek, But again 90% of Roman Culture is just stealing the shit of the people you conquered, then acting like you made it yourself
Actually yeah that’s true
Anyways if you’re gonna try and base your game off historical events please try and understand history
I wonder what the Greek gods canon opinions on the Romans just calling them something entirely different were, along with making up nonexistent gods
well i mean you can see the roman names for gods in AO in ship names
Primarily Neptune, but I’m sure others will come up eventually
I meant battle technology, and only the Arcane Government had them.
unpopular opinion, i like the fight a lot it has kewl visuals for his attacks and I think it thematically fits the whole “Sol Invictus” vibe
well jesus’ name isnt jesus so i think its not exactly far fetched even for modern day
Uhhh… What?
The unmatched power of Sunny D
its not
Are we talking in AO? Otherwise I’m fairly certain that’s incorrect
jesus’ actual name is yeshua, not jesus, jesus is a botched translation through several languages
I wouldn’t consider it botched, per se, since the letter J didn’t exist in either Hebrew or Latin
But I suppose you’re right, at minimum partially
