Fr they legit considered themselves so roman they fucking became rome for the next thousand years after the fall of the west, greece wasn’t just loyal to rome, they WERE rome
Idk I got mad at the lore changes then i remembered general valaerii (or whatever his name is) had the armor of Aurelian, which implies the crisis of the third century occured, which then made me realize that the update also released VISIgoth armor (which implies the goths took francia, and rome fell)
Which led me to thinking,
“HOW THE FUCK DID ROME LOSE???”
tbf the romans considered themselves greek, But again 90% of Roman Culture is just stealing the shit of the people you conquered, then acting like you made it yourself
