I’ve been trying to mod Stardew Valley for a while now. After being forced to update the game manually because the “install on windows” didn’t properly work, I’d attempted to open up the game with the modding api. Now I have this error message:

The problem here is that the base game is already up to date.

I’ve been trying to find a solution to this problem for a while now. Does anyone here know what to do?

you might get more helpful responses from the SMAPI Subreddit. do some searching on here for anyone with a similar issue to you, and see if anyone has responded with a solution. if you try troubleshooting that and it doesnt work, try making a post
