turret mages are mages who run through all their projectile skills like a turret, not one who uses 20x blast
In a fast paced game like AO? No way, not unless we can keep our momentum or the hitstun includes momentum. Maybe with ragdoll so players/enemies can bounce around a bit if it’s a powerful enough attack, and if they hit something solid enough the same mechanic could result in an impact.
but that’s already an existing issue, i’m not saying to add identical hitstun to everything and call it a day but to incorporate it similarly to other properties of moves
brother
hitstun is the WORST idea for games like AO, especially with how fast you can dish out attacks.
If someone gets within close range with a full attack speed build with Light you’re just stunlocked untill you die…
hitstun includes momentum as in it fully negates it or ignores it ?
endlag for moves still exist and i don’t mean for the hitstun to last for seconds long, typically only for less than a tenth of a second you’d be stunned, maybe half a second at maximum if you got hit by a really potent explosion
As in you enter a dazed state but if you’re moving, you’ll still move just be unable to attack back or change your trajectory.
it would be really funny
it would NOT be funny it would be so cool and awesome and everyone EVERYONE even you will love it
well yeah thatd make sense for some applications
I think Magma should have the longest hitstun cause I’d imagine being hit by magma would make it hard to move
not more magma buffs bruh
reduce the visual size then maybe we can talk about buffing it
ok but what if i trap someone in wood or metal for infinite hitstun
yuh huh
domain expansion gameplay
Oobleck magic would go crazy
this is gonna be someone’s custom that people are gonna complain about
Oobleck without coloring is a white non-newtonian fluid. So it’d be a white liquid in-game that can turn into a solid.
Something to think about
oobleck meta
absolutely not but i still think some equivalent to roman cancels would be fucking awesome
