Honest review of: Jujutsu Infinite **spoilers but idk if you care lol**

So Jujutsu Infinite released a few days ago and i just wanted to show my opinion on the game. and before you say it yes i have played the game i am level 117 and i regret each second of it.

The opening sequence is the only good part about the game besides the visuals showcasing one of the special grade abilities ‘infinity’ and then you get transported into the main game.

Combat
The combat is the usual M1 spam combat and you can infinite combo people which is the first L because what if you are fighting someone and he pulls out a combo that has your hp going from max to 0 in a matter of seconds?

Spin system
Oh boy this is the first thing you see when you are done with the tutorial and if you’ve seen it it shows game passes that allow you to skip rolls and innate bag have you be able to wield 4 innates instead of the usual 2 (this is locked behind a pay wall btw) this is the second L about this game which is it’s heavy P2W mechanics since some of the special grade powers and just really really unbalanced to the point where it makes the game braindead.

Story
Ok so here comes the story system oh wait what is this? Story? Lol nah there is no story well there is but its the most boring and bland story that makes you have to grind levels by doing some quests does not seem too bad right? Well take into consideration that every single quest that can pop up is a boring mind numbing bandit beater that has you kill a x amount of curses or curse users probably because they want premium payouts. Once you actually get to the story after grinding 30 levels EACH time it is ALSO a bandit beater nothing new and no lore whatsoever.

Boss raiding
so boss raiding is a mechanic where you can solo or take your friends to fight a boss that has x amount of hp but oh whats this? OH YEAH the drop chances of these bosses are fucking 1/400 or 0.25% most of the time as well meaning guess what its another premium payout slop!

Final thoughts
My final thoughts about this game is that its a p2w premium payout cash grab bandit beater slop that is hidden behind good visuals just wait for rell seas or something idk.

Sounds like a certain game you all probably know

Okay but hear me out blox fruits is semi p2w, you can still beat kid using meta without paying anything

Sounds like a pretty accurate review

i played for couple of hours and i just dont want to play it anymore
got ratio and judgeman, i got to level 74, tried sandbox
only play it for sandbox to cosplay gojo vs sukuna fight, 3/10

??? random fuck ass category to further prove that the game is slop of the week
how are you going to get any lore from a game made off of jjk :broken_heart:

the only lore there is is that gojo and sukuna had a domain clash that gave birth to a black mass that transports you to a part of your mind that tried to piece together the world based on the mc’s thoughts not the worst but yeah JJK games suck at making lore

because the iq of the average jjk fan is around the level of profound r*tardation

It’s true that this game depends on M1s for combos, although combos cannot be started with just M1s. You’d have to land cursed tendrils or rush to begin any combo- both moves are easy to block.

You also can vent out of all combos by pressing H. There are no infinite combos in the game.

True, but I will say that getting spins has to be the easiest thing in the entire game. The devs handed out a batch of codes giving you around 500-600~(?) spins.
This game suffers from the “rarer=stronger” problem where the common and uncommon abilities are worthless trash, while the rare and above abilities are genuinely useful. Even some of the rare abilities feel kind of lazy or low effort.

I disagree with the special grade powers being braindead. Everything in this game revolves around your two base abilities- rush and cursed tendrils (which is a problem in of itself), so as long as you can land those more than the enemy, you’ll probably win. I’m being dead serious when I say those are the only two real combo starters that you are given.
With that being said, special grade powers are honestly kind of balanced compared to other games with a spin system. They don’t deal massive amounts of damage (usually, Ratio can actually deal more damage at once than some special grade techniques), and there aren’t really any un-dodgeable moves (unless you look at Hydrokinesis or Domains). Not overpowered, just genuinely a pain to get.

I agree with this one, too. The storyline is absolutely horrendous and calling it a storyline is an insult to all storylines. The progression suffers from the “illusion of choice”(Missions, Bosses, Investigations, Story. Only two of those options are viable grinding methods). Your cursed technique really dictates how fast you progress, although I guess that’s an unavoidable problem. Some cursed techniques that are worse in PVE are better in PVP (Blood Manipulation, Judgeman), although the PvP isn’t even incentivized until you reach the max level.

Yeah, can’t defend this one. Blatant playtime farming.

I half disagree and half agree.

I feel like the progression can’t really be defined “bandit beater” as there are technically multiple ways to progress. Sure, every quest usually ends up with you killing curses or curse users, but I feel like that’s an unavoidable aspect when it comes to these kinds of games, too. The label “bandit beater” seems to apply to literally any game that tells you to kill x number of enemies, and I think that’s a bit unfair. Blox Fruits is a bandit beater. The entire game is spent killing reskinned enemies. Jujutsu Infinite is not a bandit beater, because you don’t have to kill the same enemies over and over if you want to level up. The mission system also provides a variety (albeit small) of quests to take on.

The mind-numbing visuals aren’t a huge problem, at least not for me.

In general, I think this review is a bit too harsh. I’ve played through the entirety of Jujutsu Infinite and can honestly say that there are a ton of problems, but the game isn’t that bad. It’s extremely beginner friendly, and it’s a nice distraction. The OST is nice, or it can be considered decent if you already enjoyed JJK. I feel that some of the Cursed Techniques are too bland and that getting a Domain Expansion shouldn’t require a shard, but the combat operates in a way that you wouldn’t really need a domain to win fights.

Speaking of the combat, it feels like it really wasn’t built to be balanced. More to fit that “power fantasy” feel. Unleashing a maximum technique, landing four black flashes in a row, using a cool combo… it’s just enjoyable to do.

I’d rate this game an 7.5/10. In my opinion, it wasn’t ready for release, but it’s fun to play and the progression isn’t really hard (just tedious).
