How can AO fill those annoying level content gaps

I’m talking about things like the wind-row island and sailor’s lodge situations where you should or need to get levels but theres not enough quests to fill the level gap

any ideas?

my first though was like a jujutsu infinite kind of side progression
its kind of hard

Perhaps there could be some gunpowder barrels you can find and sell at different islands for experience, or objectives that give experience to encourage exploring the islands you find, maybe you could find treasure charts and dig up the treasure they lead to for loot and experience, it’d be cool to go underwater and find shipwrecks and underwater treasure, that could give experience, also I think selling sealed chests that you get from sinking enemy boats with cannons should also give experience.

general exploration, underwater exploration paired with castaway saving naval battles and sealed chest unboxing and quests scattered throught the map already give enough exp for you to level up between these gaps, but i get whatchu mean.
I think enemy towers would be a nice way to progress and incentivize exploration. Underwater ships with treasure charts scattered can also help so that you can explore the ship and do the chart

there r multiple ways to level up outside of quests already the solution is playing the game

pve to get xp would be cool but then people would call it a bandit beater
difficult topic

it is not a bandit beater if the enemies are unique

I think having a separate XP and level system for ranks would be nice.

Something like Genshin Impact’s Adventure rank system. But in this case, we do daily and weekly quests to level up our ranks.

Some time in the future, maybe even implement dungeons in specific islands that drop modified chests that give their modified items, like having a ghost dungeon in Akurius. So that we don’t necessarily have to only have 2/3 ways in getting our modified gear.

if someone called ao a bandit beater because of the enemy towers they’d just be wrong. There are so many other ways to level up aside from that and it’s not like the enemies are all the same bandits

that sounds so useless

I’ve gotta write all this into a suggestion ASAP.
I think this one might just get in the game…

Honestly I was thinking the talent quests could fill that gap or they could introduce more side quests

Make Bounty Hunting give more than a single experience point. It’s pretty useless to have a board full of low-level criminals if they aren’t even worth fighting at that level

Isn’t there a daily quest system in the works?

it’s already finished and implemented in TU

I think adding professions for things like cooking and charting could be a cool idea, or maybe the ability to create your own fleet that act as a passive money or resource gain

Idk they probably wont be added tho
