Just like uncapped wom? Can Yall imagine how many things we would be able to do? (Ult art everything, actually surviving GN, huge blasts again)
Deckhands would probably also have uncapped levels, meaning unkillable ships that move at the speed of light
I did not think of that lol (GL with renown tho)
ice mages freezing the ocean with a single blast
Explosion Users:
Poison users making the world unlivable in one blast, unless a wind user is around.
Low level people (who are at a level that can participate in PvP) being even worse off.
A bunch of silly or awful stuff.
Every stat will be too overpowered. Im quite sure that Vetex will nerf stat potency when it is reaches special amount of stat or just cap it at some number. Cuz even now at 125 lvl you can reach too much, now imagine what will happen at 1000 lvl, if Vetex won’t change anything.
Yeah probably at LV 1k, a true wom like so would be trash (absolutely nothing changed)
No, don’t even think about it.
POV: fire users vs poison users
:troll face:
Napalm.
Tempest turns into a legit tornado and no one can penetrate through it with projectile
Imagine the ultra unkillable paladins spamming pillar explosion spells, just nuking the entirety of Rubica or Palo Town in one shot
weapons are gonna be the worst stat to invest in since half of the high-level weapon skills aren’t even implemented in-game
At some point wind mages would be able to just fling everyone into the dark sea, shadow users would get everyone colourblind, and If nothing would be done with the PvP level cap, then all those 500-lvl ditigal maniacs would be terrorising the shit out of low levels.
Once the Nimbus sea (or any other sea) releases, the bosses would be way too easy. There wouldn’t be a need for a consistent skill level for any of the new enemies because everyone who’s played ao before the release of the next sea had all the time in the world to become as powerful as a demigod
I do not like this idea of yours…
light pulsar
Considering how exp for certain activities are % based, it’ll probably be surprisingly easy to get levels in the late game. So with that in mind, at a certain point gaining levels will just reach a consistent rate whereas in WoM it presumably just gets harder and harder.
oh shit yes i forgot cargo, infinite levels lol
Treasure charts are a level and sealed chests each give a % of exp. Honestly though I feel like eventually Cargo should just be capped to a fixed value + 10% or something as we get closer to the endgame.
Only things that should scale indefinitely are items/activities from the Dark Seas. Even treasure charts should be limited by sea.
Something like
Bronze (1st) → 1 level until level 150; 50% of a level until level 225; caps at 15% of a level until max
Nimbus (2nd) → 1 level until level 250; 50% of a level until 325; caps at 17.5% of a level until max
3rd Sea → 1 level until 350/375; 50% of a level until 425/450; caps at 20% of a level until max
4th Sea → 1 level until 450/475; 50% of a level until 525/550; caps at 22.5% of a level until max
5th sea → 1 level until 550/575; 50% of a level until 625/650; caps at 25% of a level until max
6th sea → 1 level until 750/800; 50% of a level until max
Cargo imo should stop giving ~33% of a level after level 150/200, and after it should be capped at 20% or something.
Let’s just use the Brig as an example, someone mentioned a 20k price tag and the wiki has a 20k price tag listed for it. I’m going to be generous and give you a small loan of 10k galleons to start off with. Now let’s say you for some reason only decide to do cargo until 20k (not even thinking about pocket change for repairing your Brig), and I’m going to give you a slight galleon boost in sales so you make a full 100 exactly each cargo run (pretty sure they were nerfed to 96 for Ravenna → Redwake and Redwake-> Ravenna).
Now then, for 10k you need to buy 200 crates, if each gives 33% of a level then you will go from an assumed level 125 to 191 just farming for the Brig from this one run. This is assuming you had 10k already, and you for some ungodly reason decide it’d be a good idea to not make a bit extra for pocket change (although a reason could be to prevent gankers for taking your galleons but let’s ignore that because you have a fully decked out Ketch with max speed deckhands).
Now let’s say you’re at a more reason 1000 galleons which means it would take you 180 more crates to make the money required. So the total here is 380 crates, and you sell all of them for a measly 125.4 levels. So you went from level 125 to basically awakening in the Nimbus Sea.
