How come rose-gold magic exists?

I remember vetex specifically mentioning he didn’t like ink and paper for one of the reasons being they were technically artificial in nature or something, I’m not sure if I have all the details correct but I do know vetex has some kind of thing for not wanting magics to have any kind of man-made influence and be based on things in nature.

if this is the case, how come rose gold metal exists?

rose gold is a completely artificial alloy between pure gold and copper (both are already variations so this makes it even weirder)

visually I guess it’s nice but lore wise something doesn’t sit quite right

It’s just a variation so it doesn’t matter as much, like how yellow lightning is a variation but not an actual thing (it occurs when there is high concentrations of dust which isn’t a lightning related thing)

humans don’t make yellow lightning but they do make rose gold

well does this imply that there’s a variation of every alloy in existence?

i guess if gold didnt have any variation back then, it would make it even weirder for it to not just be an iron variant
and i completely forgot copper was even a thing, i never checked it so far
