How customizable will boats possibly be?

Seeing how the trello contains some info about ships being quite customizable. Will there be plain hulls being sold or say something like a steam engines or big boat rams? I am just wondering.

Hmmm I guess that will be the best answer I will get.

I think it will be a set of different hulls with following options:

  • Sails (Maybe. They might also just be pre-set to their hulls)
    – Colour of the sails
    – Different price classes of sails (Some may be better than others)
    – Posibly the option to pick a decal for the sail/flag (Might also just be used for the Clan symbol)

  • Weapon slots (Hardpoints pre-set on every hull. They allow you to mount cannons)
    – Various types of cannons (Posibly an option. Either in form of different types and/or price classes)

  • Cosmetics (Will most likely be an option. It’s uncertain in which way however)
    – Figure heads
    – Lanterns
    – Options to apply colours to the hull (?)

This is how I assume, ship customisation will turn out. But in the end we will see.
