We know that Morden found the death curse at the sea floor of the dark sea. But wouldn’t he die instantly upon getting the curse because he’s in seawater?

The Death Curse was hovering over the water and doing death related things to the surrounding area.
Curses can’t be inside the Magic Polluted water and it will always prevent itself from coming into contact.
Similar to how Oil will float above water.
p sure vetex confirmed that it was behind the pellion rift in a topic not too long ago lol, and he just says the he must be in the dark sea but not that he got it there, he never said where did he obtain the curse

Don’t see it in his posts besides mentioning how Death is Black with Teal. and how Apoc Bringer is Teal with Black.
If it’s Vetcord then i can’t really see all of Vetex’s msgs since he could’ve said that in Lvl’d chats.
It’s very obvious that he made it into the Dark Sea though. .
He even says his compass is spinning around too along side seeing huge creatures below.
I mean. . How would he?
His compass doesn’t work, he’s surrounded by hostile weather, and only knows that he’s somewhere east of the Pelion Rift.
Also goes into why would he in the first place.
It’ in the middle of nowhere with a very hostile environment, no landmarks, or references towards it the location outside go East of this place.

He did go to the dark sea according to his diary but he did not get it there, makes me question morden’s sailing skills

Well, my first Dark Sea expeditions ended up in similiar way - Left from the north and came back from the south lol.
Tech wrote it. So uh, maybe Tech got something wrong.
It would be cool if you could see the Death Curse before it gets obtained by Morden, like how you can see Iris at Silverhold
Of course, they’d have to add reasons on why players can’t obtain it

I’ve always thought he was a god tier sailor but bros sail boat almost got destroyed being near the Dark Sea let alone inside of it
