How did someone bounty hunt me even though they didn't have my poster?

I was 1v1ing at munera and I had my enemy make sure they didn’t have my poster before the 1v1. They showed me someone else’s poster yet I still somehow got hunted. They didn’t show me the poster and go back to a bounty board.

Take note we were in different clans if this explains anything.

i have 2 theories rn:

  1. he hacked (he used a script to select bounties remotely)
  2. faulty deselection (you can still hunt people even if you don’t have their poster as long as you have selected it before)
  3. he somehow managed to go back to a bounty board in a short timeframe and select my poster

You can still take some renown from someone by just killing them normally, even if you have nothing to do with the poster. However, that apparently doesn’t apply at munera so I still don’t know why that happened

Do you have their poster? If yes, then that’s why. The hunter could get hunted too.
