Basically how they hell does everyone know about the pros and cons of ebery single build? How do i find out what magics work for me, what armor builds work for me and what combinations work for me without investing my entire life into this game? Also, how much practice does it take to get good at pvp?

It’s just general game knowledge, I think I’m quite good at it since I pvp alot so if you have any questions I can answer them
Imprint the known knowledge of the universe into your mind. you’d get Arcane Odyssey information from it while not playing a single hour of the game
look at the wiki, trello, discord channels, other peoples brains, forum 
Oracle: outheal everything, you practically cannot die but beware of long battles
Juggernaut: you a tanky melee
Beserker: deadly on melee but literally useless at long range (unless youre a chad and use cfist)
Warlord: medium-close range, get tempered multi pistols and replace quick combo with multi shot (recommendation), you can mimmick long range with dense musket though
Warrior: medium range, i recommend a firearm/bow, any melee and ravenna war shield
Conjurer: get synergies, play lightning-sw or acid-ptooth, anything that synergises with bleed works
Mage: long range, you sniper but can also use 100% splode size for close range, be wary of snare being unreliable sometimes, recommend a heavy magic + fast magic for big damage up close but still have that sniper thing
Knight: tanky warrior
Paladin: tanky mage
Warlock: uhh use freeze-sailor, or get a fast magic with ileg to benefit from imbuement speed boost
Savant: jack of all trades, master of none, yet often better than master of one. you get a little bit of everything but you dont have invested enough stat points to get the ‘good’ stats, heavily recommend any non-bleed clearing magic, get cfist and boxing, get a shield, a melee with movement and a medium ranged firearm (not bows because their travel speed is stupidly slow)

You don’t, that’s about 25% of the reason I stopped trying to get into PvP in this game.

just make a build that has high agility (230+ for level 140), and then just use anything you want
it’s good for closing gaps for those short ranged attacks, like fighting styles
it’s good for mixup playstyles with both short ranged and medium ranged, for weapon users
it’s good for zoners because you can keep your distance better, which is good for magics
(the only problem you’ll face is with small aoe short ranged attacks, since you’ll probably jump up too high when using your high jump)
ultimate art: make the npc’s fight eachother!
You have to dedicate hours into this game if you want to get good, that’s just how learning is. Granted some people learn faster or slower than others; I’d just go bounty hunt a lot, pvp with pros, do elysium, whatever else I guess.
low key it’s not even worth it to get good, only pvp if you find it fun otherwise save yourself the time

what kinda list is this? Other than a few select options, such as conjurer, it’s very outdated for PvP.
-you should never run a shield under any circumstance, including savant. The use of possibly 3-4+ moves is much more important than a blocking buff.
-don’t restrict certain classes as if they are useless in certain situations. A good beserker is almost never held back by fighting a zone class, and it only having close range options doesent really matter much when it can rushdown any class in under 3 seconds. (try fighting a thermo beserker such as fridgeuchila if you want to see this.)
-there are much more equal, or even better options for different classes than what appears to be the meta. For warlock specifically, builds such as plasma-thermo, shadow-basic/boxing, and fire-sailors are extremely strong, but simply not used a lot.

use an easy to use build like size warrior and spam the aoe skills like no tomorrow
u dont have to even pvp to have fun anyway. if u dont feel like it js dont. waste of time imo if u dont wanna devote to the game
