How do you feel about the agility change?

if your a brain dented caveman who lives under a rock then agility is basically removed from maingame now. vetex made it so upon getting combat tagged agility effectively doesnt work at all.

reason being and i quote, “Agility no longer has any use in combat, Reasoning provided on behalf of (the majority of) the Balance Team & Testers: “Agility is extremely damaging to the game’s current overworld PvP state, allowing players to easily run away from fights they initiated themselves. It needs this significant change to be properly addressed in the meantime.”

so overall, how do you feel about the change?

  • great change it should stay like this till full release
  • its a good change but it should’ve been done differently
  • neutral or no opinion
  • the change isnt bad but its acceptable
  • it should get reverted immediately or else im quitting

only really matters if it works on agil potions aswell, which i havent seen anyone mention or test yet

good regardless, just pointless if agil potions still work (theyre the worst form of agil anyway)

Great change remove accuracy now and keep agility
This is literally what everyone advocating keeping agility has been talking about, just remove the fucking speed bonus in combat
Was it that difficult?

That defeats the purpose of agility as a stat. At that point, please just make it a gem effect.

As someone who plays a ranged build, with a very fast (like, he can go from one end of Sandfall to the other with one move), close-range rival, agility was literally the only thing keeping me alive. Until agility becomes accuracy I’m probably not even gonna play the game, because if I’m going to readjust my entire combat style, I’m gonna do it permanently. I’m not playing with half a stat build. Agility is now just taking up space on my armor and I’m not spending another hundred hours making a new armor build unless I have to.

I would have no problem with this change if it was fully implemented the way it will be in full release: agility stat on armor replaced by accuracy, agility itself given to a gem secondary, PVP toggle as an option (not that I care much about getting ganked anyway, as I usually just sit there and wait to die, but might as well). But just removing a stat from armor for all combat purposes, which is the WHOLE POINT of armor, doesn’t make sense at all.

notice how the only 3 that voted for this change to be reverted are assholes

Oh sorry, I was just kinda concerned people thought I was rude :frowning: I have autism so it’s hard to tell sometimes, I don’t really get social cues and stuff so I was fully just expecting that everyone hated me

why would everyone hate you, i personally haven’t ever seen you here b4

great change, but it wouldve been better if it came with a pvp toggle. but agility has been a plague in pvp for over 2 years so im still fine with it being gone

Feel like I worded my comment badly, so I’m trying again:

Armor stats: combat stuff (power, defense, attack speed, etc.)
Gem stats: quality of life stats (air capacity, climbing speed) or very niche things (energy regen, potency)

Agility in this state fits much better as a gem stat. There’s no reason to keep 300 agility on my combat armor if I can’t fight with it, but I don’t want to make a new armor build now because a) it takes time and effort and b) full release is adding accuracy and I wanna see if it’s good

I feel like removing agility and adding homing doesn’t really fix the problem

i would have prefered the full solution of adding agility jewels and replacing the agility item stat with something else, but it literally couldn’t have been possible now given that accuracy doesn’t exist yet.

still, the change seems completely deserved, even if i dislike the idea of an item stat only working in some situations. it makes sense as a jewel substat as jewels dont matter nearly as much in combat as your main item stats

btw agility is getting reworked to have no effect in combat, even as a gem stat
shouldn’t have played an early access game ig

both are bad

remove the stat overall lool

i hate homing even more than agility :sob:

Honestly why can’t agility be slightly weaker in combat it seems like a better fix than adding homing :sleeper:

Well you see, vetex needed an excuse to add homing to the game and used the controversy regarding agility as an excuse

in ao is not skill vs skill, but build vs build

I genuinely don’t understand the thought process of removing agility in combat but let’s add slight auto aim lmao
