As the title asks, how do you think the game will end? Will it end with the final update where it concludes the story and fully implements everything planned? Or will it end abruptly either do to ROBLOX’s doing or general disinterest from the developer to continue to update?
Personally, I think the game will end abruptly but with a final, conclusion update that doesn’t really reach its set goals but gives the players something to chew on.
probably when the max level is about 2000-3000. Story wise it’ll probably end with us being either the most notorious villain or keeping the peace. I really like the theory that the final fight will be a player v player thing or maybe player v a mod/some player designated to be the final boss. I personally don’t think the game will finish but I’m really, really hoping it does.
we don’t currently have a roadmap to even 1k, and it’s planned for 5k. I have a feeling that vetex will either get bored or roblox will break something big before then, but the current update schedule is making me re-consider that. If something does break, I have a feeling that this will suffer the same exact fate as AA. If it does come to the final update, I’m thinking you’ll be able to become a high-rank magic council member or a bandit leader, and still have stuff to do like arresting player criminals if they get notorious or help in raids against the MC as bad rep. Though I have nothing to back this up on, I just think it’d keep endgame people involved.
i think in the end, the final update, abrupt or not, comes - and as we boot up the game, we are greeted with this final message:

I think WoM will reach 5k, that’s just me being optomistic. If i’m being real, level 3,000+ probably. Vetex is going at a GREAT pace, but development burnout is real. Not to mention roblox staff is notorious for doing terrible updates. We’ll just have to wait and see.
im more pessimistic and if i really have to take a guess ill say probably 2,000 will be when the game ends. it’s just that 5,000 is a super ambitious goal for one developer

There’s a reason Vetex left the last long-term roadmap update as the horses. That’s when he’s going to leave all of us like how my ex-girlfriend left me.

Im fairly doubtful of woms future as vetex has stated that after a couple of months of the public release he will make a tiny side-thing but i believe that shows that hes slowly (very slowly) losing interest in the game.
With bugs appearing out of nowhere and roblox updates messing with the code im fairly pessimistic of how woms future is.

I’m not really expecting WoM to go far at all. It’s not that I think it can’t go far, but i can’t expect his game to go far if all his games ended pretty abruptly. It would just make sense for the game to end like that too, especially considering some problems are also starting to pile up (client based pvp that causes many problems, exploits, save file duplication/deletion…).

I’m not a dev, I have no idea how hard making a game can be, especially with Roblox literally fighting you every update.
im more worried about roblox breaking the game and im really hoping we would be able to finish the game anyway i think the story ends with the peace maker fight for the villan one or fighting chaos himself for the hero one
Hopefully Roblox doesn’t pull a filteringenabled 2 and force streaming enabled because that broke wom when it was enabled.
