Always wondered this. Is a blast spell a material that explodes on contact or is it a continuous explosion? How do beams function? How does Snare work at all?

My take is it’s pretty similar to how fire magic works since there both forms of combustion
Same case as any other magic where it’s just magic mimicking the appearance of an element

The real question is, what type of poison is poison magic supposed to be? the word “poison” refers to any type of substance that’s harmful to living things. The word is inherently extremely vague and broad and I genuinely want to know.
“toxin” and “venom” doesn’t help narrow it down much either since toxins can literally be so many things and venoms belong to all sorts of animals, also, since when have you seen red venom from an animal in nature?

The thing about venom is it only works if it gets in your bloodstream. Toxins is a broad term that incorporates venoms and poisons which are both toxic to your health

well technically heat is just energy, and explosions are just like an extreme outward expansion of energy
whatever gas that cause necrocis since the description for poisoned status is literally “your body is breaking down from the inside”
