I typically interpret level as a combination of skill and an individual’s luck. Like how certain war generals manage to campaign for years, even on the frontline, and never get badly hurt. (George Washington, Julius Ceaser, etc.)
Of course, that doesn’t really work for Arcane “house-sized-attacks” Odyssey.
Actually, by the standards of the time period, the houses are pretty dang big. But that’s beside the point.
Point is, I don’t really think the video game concept of HP always has a real-life equivalent. Especially given that Vetex has stated repeatedly that the “gameplay” is more valuable than the “lore” in the game.
this is ignoring the horrifying part of water in AO. It’s compressed. When a blast hits something it explodes into, yknow a blast. Water does not like being compressed, in fact it’s nearly impossible to compress it. The very fact that it IS compressed means that the moment it hits you, it basically vaporizes the area it touches by suddenly decompressing, because that is a LOT of force being released
no it really isn’t. That’s the immune system, ie the human body (also how tf does that buff poison poison isn’t something the immune system fights if I remember right it just fucks up your body).
Let’s take into consideration how fast the MC regenerates, and also base it off Lady Carina’s regeneration. It’s unnaturally fast (partially for game purposes, yes) most likely due to magic and spirit energy attempting to keep their vessel alive regardless of whether they are an Oracle or Mage. This could also be applied to the durability of people, as the energies could absorb some of the impact. or the magics are illusions and it’s our soul being damaged and repaired
Speaking of MC being special, I heard that WoM had descendants of gods that could do magic without circles. I hope we get to disable circles some time.
yeah it was a civilization that was just built like that
they descended from the gods and didnt need circles as a result
i hope player can learn that (then i can say im a better pyromaniac than theos)
