How exactly does magic storage on ships work?

Like I get out ship stores magic energy some how but how exactly does it get the magic energy? Like through the ocean water or something?

But like how? Does it absorb magic energy from the ocean or does the ship take in some water directly and extracts it?

From what I understand it’s just this, the actual equipment that allows it is never explained but it’s just magic energy absorption from the irradiated water. For the ram I assumed that it just absorbed it by itself, but that doesn’t explain how the energy is getting to the cannons. Go ask vetex Ig if you want to go more in-depth

Wet parts collect water. Water somehow travels to the arcanium metal or some storage. Gives magic energy to store.

I don’t really know myself, since it’s either that or the “magic storage” refills over time, and is latent based on what’s storing it (cannons, deckhands, quartermasters, rams)

I mean maybe the ship absorbs magic energy from everywhere including you and your crew idk

Probably something similar to skyships absorbing clouds to stay afloat
