How Has PvP Been For Others?

I have had a lot of trouble killing anyone above level 50. People using run and magic jump seem to be able to completely avoid death no matter how low I get them.

But I want to know how other people have been. Is it just me in this situation, or do other people also have this issue. Or maybe PvP goes really good for you. I’d like to know.

PvP is kinda clunky in the game, people with duel daggers tend to win most fights thanks to the double throw skill. Not a big fan of it but I’m sure it’ll get better as the game progresses

Only found 2 people who I had a fight with, with both running into the woods and losing their track.

Yeah that’s the thing, you can easily run away and you won’t get hit by the enemy, unless the player has godly prediction and aim skills. Hopefully they will make it easier to pursue enemies in the future.

Unless you got one of the more fast magics, they can easily just dodge.
(I was using crystal in both fights)

Currently, pvp feels like explosion spam to me. In general I usually don’t like pvp, but wom pvp I don’t like even more, especially when there is server lag.

personally i have fun fighting other people and i dont seem to an issue with people that keep running but idk maybe it’s just me

Yeah pvp isn’t really at a good place at the moment imo. The high ping is one of the biggest problems. Sometimes when you see a spell pass you, it still registers as hitting. Another thing is that regen is very fast. It’s very easy to run away and come back with a decent amount of health back a few moments later.

Its not that bad, Leap but still needs to be fixed but no one know how to replicate it. Once the other enchantments actually effect magic it’ll be nice.

Combat tag ends too fast, honestly.

-finds bad rep- -gets them to 60ish health- -bad rep runs away and I can’t find them- (ps. I actually like how pvp battles are super long like in Lore)
EDIT: I wish there was some sort of long term mana meter that if it ran out would make it so you can’t do magic for like 3 mins and takes a while to charge but charges by itself. If you tried to use magic when it was empty you would die or get hurt super bad.

one suggestion i can make is to make a pillar type spell and set it to around 40% so it does more damage and use it when they try to air stall, but only when they go directly up or use something that causes them to stay in place. this is something that works for me with air stallers, at least. hopefully this helps you out

Sadly I wouldnt really call it a long battle, it is more or less a long chase scene.

pvp honestly isnt fun atm, all you use are big explosions because that’s the only thing you’re going to hit on a player, and its incredibly easy to run away from someone if you dont wanna fight, doubly so if youre in a city.

also healing is way too fast, you could get a couple hits off on someone and then theyll be back to full after stalling for a bit.

furthermore the only good stats at this low level are power and defense because they increase hp and damage by a flat amount, where as the other stats have a percent scaling to level 5000 so even a full build of a stat like agility will only give you a 4% increase in movement speed at best, and i believe for some of the other stats the most you can get is a 2% increase.

meanwhile you can practically double your damage and hp with the defense and power gear.

I agree with some battles but the other day I had an almost hour long battle with a shadow user. (Sadly I lost F). Also in Lore people usually don’t win a battle and someone ends up running away almost dead. Example: It states that Theos and Durza had multiple battles but none of them ever won. Always a stalemate.

PVP rn is kinda sucky as it is basically just placed explosion spam with some melee tactics in there. Once more moves come out I assume it’ll get a lot better though.

I think it’s way too easy to escape, and that blast spells are very underwhelming in PvP. It mainly seems to be self explosion, placed explosion, and melee spam that determines the victor. I hope that they reduce health regen by a fair amount to make running and quickly coming back less viable.
Small sized projectiles also seem to be useless in PvP since they are almost impossible to land a hit with. On the other hand, I do feel like PvP will become a lot better once more attacks come out. (especially ultimates and beams)
I would like a little injury feature, where if you hit someone who is at low HP, you could potentially break their leg or something, slowing them down drastically and making it harder to escape. Other injuries could be like broken ribs slowing down health regen, and broken arms reducing stamina gain. I feel like these features would be pretty nice.
Melee could also use a nice nerf/rework since the hitstun on it is super clunky and unpredictable imo.

PvP is very ping dependant with a lot of cheese thrown in. Basically go a fast magic with high ass power and you’ll be winning a good amount of fights

PvP for me is just me almost killing someone then them running away until the in combat goes away and them leaving.

Personally it is the level caps that ruins PVP. Since we’re capped at 60, we don’t have flight and we don’t have beam. Once beam and flight are enabled, fights will be more interesting. Unfortunately, flight is probably going to be the same for everyone, so running is still going to work. Beam might change that, though I’ve never seen a beam in action properly.
