If there’s a large gap between your active and inactive followers, you’ll start getting significantly less followers from patrol. I’m not sure exactly what the value is, but I noticed it when I was at around 3000+ total and had around 700 inactive, so it might be around 33% of your total fleet being inactive (just a guess, I’ve no idea what the actual value is)
Just have 3 fleets on recover while 1 does an actual task, you will almost never need to actually worry abt stuff
Is there anyway to give different parts to my ship? Like seitching out the default sails for archaic?
Don’t think so, hope they can upgrade themselves when on explore or conquest
I think you’re forgetting food and supplies
Does efficiency of tasks scale off of how many ships you have or is it based on active/inactive followers?
do i need to have a deckhand with max loyalty/level or can i throw in some random hobo i picked up from the streets?
btw now that trading also gives drachma, does that also increase our food and supplies?
You need max loyalty, not level though
don’t you need the other two on patrol to get food?
that’s the neat part!
in order to keep strength high enough to have no deserters, you need 3 recovering
in order to keep food and supplies high enough to have no deserters, you need 1 on patrol/plunder.
if you want to level up your fleet by having one do another task you need to micromanage them heavily
best is to have 2 recover + 1 plunder/patrol + 1 task since that makes the bars drop way slower
switch back to 3 recover + 1 plunder/patrol for a bit when any of the bars get too low
no? My fleet has been self sustaining (100% on everything)
that 1 would have to be plunder/patrol (maybe trading idk since it gives drachma now) for a self sustaining fleet
for some reason neither plunder nor trading is giving me any money
does anyone else also have this issue?
Plunder won’t give you any drachma until your food and supplies are 100%, if that’s the case
If you’ve selected minimize risk ofc
idk about trading
ah okay that makes sense
I guess the same applies to trading but it just doesn’t replenish food or supplies
That wouldn’t make sense though. Plunder doesn’t give drachma because it uses it to fill up the bars. If trading doesn’t do that then it should surely give us the drachma.
Unless it’s a bug, which is very much possible ![]()
It’s based on active followers, which is directly tied to how many ships you have
Except it’s not though
You could have 10 sailboats and it would still be less followers than a single brig
