The only one in a weakened state is technically General Argos because of old age. Everyone else just had more potential or they just weren’t weakened at all.

The player is also an idiot
He sees Julian charging at them, and decides to just walk slightly faster in the direction they were already going.
They could’ve at least sprinted or dashed in the direction they were going, it would give them a way better chance.
If they did that in the opposite direction, they probably could’ve dodged the impact, as Julian would have a tough time redurecting at that speed, so would likely miss.
Or they could’ve, you know, dashed down the mountain. They can already survive a fall from the top of Stepstones, that would be a piece of cake. Julian couldn’t hit them, they could lay low for a bit, all is good.
Instead of that half-assed attempt.

Why you use game stuff as an argument? like, i can just no damage speedrun carina and just say “guhuduh i can solo julius the fraud guhgghgh” what point you trying to make?
Carina is stronger than us, because she is an trained warrior (not the class), because she has experience at Fighting and because she is just on a higher level than us (or equal level idk) so it would make sense why we got so tired and injured fighting her.
. oh and also i dont think canonically you can easily survive fall from very high place like mountain or from falling from the damn skies (which is VERY high), plus even if we somehow could avoid Julius’ first attack (that he used against us) he could just chase us down with no problem…

This is such a dumb rumor. 
No, Morden isn’t a newbie for using a curse for only a few months. It’s been confirmed and said that Curses are much easier and less consuming to use then magic.
Combined with the fact that like us he’s a gifted individual who can go from struggling against bandits to fighting kings with lost magics. Pair that with a extremely powerful Curse to boot, and it’s super impressive that Julian fucked up Morden so bad, the latter couldn’t even walk and slept for days.
