Evander seems like he’s supposed to be strong, he just really isn’t. This is pretty much the root of the dilemma. We have a character who acts like he’s supposed to be tough, and he has, what, 500k bounty? He’s just not that tough.

Remember, we solo’d a king of a kingdom. It’s not that these foes are “weak” it’s just that we’re crazy strong, and will only get stronger. e.g Just because Jogo lost to Gojo doesn’t mean he’s weak.

this has probably been already pointed out but the fact that Julian only stalemated against a newbie curse user is… not great to say the least.

This is such a dumb rumor. No, Morden isn’t a newbie for using a curse for only a few months. It’s been confirmed and said that Curses are much easier and less consuming to use then magic.

Combined with the fact that like us he’s a gifted individual who can go from struggling against bandits to fighting kings with lost magics. Pair that with a extremely powerful Curse to boot, and it’s super impressive that Julian fucked up Morden so bad, the latter couldn’t even walk and slept for days.

Being a high lord of the Order probably requires you to at bare minimum be pretty damn strong, which Calvus clearly was.

Irrelevant, being a high lord implies at least a certain level of power that not every mage or warrior can match. Especially since boss progression is non-linear, and it’s gonna take us a bit to get a boss similar in power to Calvus.
