How long do you guys think the average total playtime would be to complete the entire story of AO?

Basically, when AO is finished with the main story, in the far, far future, how long do you think it would take on average for someone to playthrough the entire thing from the very beginning to end?

Definitely over 100 hours of pure story, not even counting the game’s expansive side content

these kinds of posts always make me so hyped for AO and the possibilities that await the community

who knows what mysterious characters, events, battles, skills, and whatever else lays within those 100 hours.

and that’s just the story, and if we’re really optimistic, there could even be like story expansions, though I doubt that would happen.

probably like 75 minimum considering stuff like natural disasters, inconveniences and an xp barrier where u gotta move away from the story for a bit

round 80 hours
since that’s the average

Well, iirc the level cap is around 120, testers said that doing the bronze sea was like 5 hours of gameplay or something around that (i forgor :skull:), now, assuming there is no bigass timeskip, getting to around level 1000 while progressing the storyline would be on avarege 41 Hours, now this doesn’t take, well, basically everything into context (practicing bosses because i’m guessing they will actually be a challenge, getting from island to island, different story parts having different pacing, potential timeskips, The other 3 seas having whole ass different plotlines) so take that number with a grain of salt but it should be atleast around that mark. That’s a bit crazy considering that AO will be free and like a good 80% of 60$ AAA have like 2x less that number. Personally if i were to predict it, with all that shit included such and doing the avarege amount of sidequests, traveling, or training, I’d guess that the game would take around 90+ Hours if you were to play casually, 30+ hours to simply get a slot to endgame (skipping story and basically speedrunning the game), or around like 130 hours if you wanted to actually sit through and analyze the game :person_shrugging:

and a good 15% of the ones that do only have like 1/4th of the content they should in that amount of hours lol

That was only go get to level 50, if you just double it we’d end up with ~100 hours of content if the storyline went up to level 1000, but it’s more likely that it’ll be around 75-80 hours

Let’s not compare the playtimes of small Roblox games and proper AAA titles yeah? :fr:

why not

scared that roblox bodies AAA?

I mean it really isn’t hard to beat AAA game nowadays even Deepwoken is way more engaging that like 90% of them being pumped out today :skull:

we are trying not to think of that

i dont think Vetex have enough it is what it is in him anymore

rip

floridian

That feeling when there are more hours of gameplay in a roblox game than in Ubisoft games.

Thats hard to kick.

Maybe a casual player doing and exploring farming doing all at the game will take like 500 hours :skull: if he a normal person and not a speed runner

Engagement is one thing but production quality is another :skull:
Also that is comedically subjective but ok

well now it’s 2 against one but ok

I couldn’t give a slimy shit if a game is absolutely terrible and made in scratch versus a game with much higher quality and good graphics, if the game is fun then play it so quality really doesn’t mean shit in the gaming world

But i’m not even wrong, name an ACTUAL fun AAA game that has released this year that hasn’t been shit on for being boring or just bad (Elden Ring and GoW don’t count :skull: )
