I see alot of people groan over doing treasure charts, which confuses me because I actually really enjoy doing them, sure they’re time consuming but its something you can just keep on doing without really needing to go farm up resources first.

They’re alright as long as the islands were built by Vetex
Palo Town, Drakos Arch, Shale Reef and Blackreach charts are acceptable reasons for suicide
At least treasure chart can be done if you are poor
I am more neutral but i like them more than i dislike them
they are something to do i suppose, full release has also made them a bit more interesting with the lost charts which is neat
once i start i dont stop until i finish all of them and it nearly becomes an endless loop they are very enjoyable
would be all love if the nimbus sea wasn’t so big.
I think they are kind of therapeutic to do! I also like having the chance to do mythical or lost charts. I’m not the best at charting but I pretty much do it whenever i join the game though
I like them, I think the addition of lost charts was also pretty great. It’s rewarding and I like that you’re getting chased down by pirates the whole time. I especially like the pirate’s dialogue they spew out when they’re chasing you down I think that’s pretty funny.
Not only do I get the best loot in the game but I can also listen to stuff in the back while sailing to forget my troubles, it’s really therapeutic while also giving you good stuff so I’d say it’s cool
Sky Islands should have their own treasure charts restricted exclusively to sky islands.
And, treasure charts really shouldn’t disappear upon death. Punishing players for opting into PVP feels like an unintended consequence.
all you gotta do is stack 150 in your inventory then just dig up on small islands… you don’t even need to look at the charts, just dig at any spot because there’s at least 3 in that island
don’t forget nimbus wilds, the entire process there just sucks
Whenever i play AO i mainly charting. I have both shovel enchants and darkness talent, so its more of “wait till ghosts spawns and see how it acts”
Kinda annoying without them, but its a chill process.
Dive in / Do Dark Sea, get loot and charts, do charts, do mystic chsrt, do lodt chart, do lost chart, finally no charts
I can’t switch off darkness talent because of the Ghosts. They make charts so much easier

annoying when you try to dig like 20 different spots with gilded enchant and none of them have it
Darkness talent is my goat of treasure charting, each part only takes around 1 min of digging.
