How much do you think the frigate will cost?

The brig is 20K. I’m thinking 50k or 100k.

1 arcanillion galleon!!

anyway yeah its probably 100k

Prolly 100k+. Ketches cost 3k while brigs cost 20k (more than 6x increase) because brigs have so many extra features that the other ships dont have. I expect frigates to receive some new features too (maybe a place where we can open sealed chests?) while also being a direct upgrade to brigs in most stats (maybe not turning tho). So 100k+ seems reasonable to me purely based on its usefulness. Also 100k now is pretty much equal to 20k when brigs were released imo so if vetex were to look at it that way then it would make sense for frigates to be at least 100k

100k

I’d say maybe 45k or something.

3 doubloons (I hope)(I don’t want to grind for 10 hours just to get slightly faster bigger ship)

I assume it will be 50k. Yeah the pattern suggests that it should be more but unless Vet introduces a better and more fun way to get galleons (And no I’m not counting trading) in the Empires Update, I don’t want to be paying that much for the next boat.

If its 100k thats scary… While I do have the money, it worries me for casuals who will have to grind for such a ship… Like… What if the ship of the line costs like 500k? The utter stupidity…

Fr, people don’t realize how easy it is to earn galleons right now so I’m surprised people think I’m rich by giving away a lot of 100K :sob:

How is it easy broo? I did a cargo run for 5k

tbf the average player still cant grind 100k easily but once you know how to grind galleons efficiently then yeah it becomes very easy

Yeah that’s fair

You guys seem to know, mind sharing? I’m already saving up for the frigate

100k might become easier to grind for by the time we reach lvl 180 so even for casuals it should be doable. Also its supposed to be a end goal to grind for, even for casuals, so making its price too low would kinda defeat that purpose. Not to even mention all the possible new features we will likely get nor the guaranteed stat upgrades from frigates. So imo 100k as a minimum is probably completely justified.

Trading rare items for galleons works well, but if you want to straight up grind for galleons then diving with luck 5 or just doing dark sea runs can get you a lot of galleons pretty fast while also getting you other rare/useful items.

I see thanks.

There are guides on youtube btw if you want to get a more in depth explanation

edit: heres a video that discusses many different methods: The BEST Ways To Get Galleons In Arcane Odyssey! (Strategy Guide) (youtube.com)

As for my personal recommendation: grind dark sealeds till you get like a 100 in storage, then pop a luck 5 aura and open them all. In terms of exotic scrolls that youll get from all those sealeds, you should easily be able to get 200k if you traded them all away. You can also sell the sails and gems that you dont need from those sealeds to npcs which is also a good way of getting galleons. After youve opened all your dark sealeds, you can switch to diving with luck 5 to get sunkens and/or acrimonies. But diving also gets you many crafted gems, reagents and other trash that you could sell. Drowned gear is also pretty underrated so you could use that as a substitute to buying sunkens or boss drops :man_shrugging:

I’ll check them out

Ao inflation be like

50k to 100k

And to think my galleons have accumalated to… a total of 16k! (And my fifth file doesn’t even have so much as a brig)
