Now I see an epic effort!
Zorpheus:
2 - Fair duels/PVP training, since it decreases your magic power and some people would like to be trainined without being killed during the process, It would be a good way to train with skilled players.
Eastides:
Iâd say this qualifies as âmonkeying aroundâ, which I already considered. This is because training with other players is not an intended part of the gameplay as far as I know, and is simply a consequence of there being a fighting mechanic.
Even tho, as I said, Itâs a good spot that it would work, not the actual reason to have it, but having a power slider, as you said, would concequentialy allow people to do fair duels or newbie training.
Zorpheus:
3 - Game challenges, if you search on youtube âno gear boss fightsâ, its a interesting challenge to try out, just your magic and your fists. But hey, its not a challenge if you kill the boss with a few hits, why not challeging yourself to go 1% of your power against the bosses?
I donât know what to say about the boss difficulty bar, but I only used bosses as a challenge example, just like you said, people could be like a dragon ball kid want to do 1% power challege on anything, bosses, players, pirates, etc. And yeah, itâs another concequent feature that I think its interesting.
Zorpheus:
Also its very simple to access the power slider, its just clicking in your menu > settings > slide your power. Very simple and thereâs no why having hotkeys for it. Unless Vetex do something to add a preset that set a powerlevel switch that you can configure to change between your 100% and a costumize porcentage.
Eastides:
Itâs not that I think itâll be too difficult to access, itâs just that while accessing the slider you have to halt everything else you are doing. This means that it cannot be used while in combat, and can only realistically be used before/after combat or in-between individual bouts. Maybe I should have been more specific in what I said though.
Understood, that indeed would be incovenient.
Suggestions are not allowed. (Joke)
Zorpheus:
Decreasing your magic tier effect , such as sounds, magic charge, magic circle size, etc.
I donât think these are needed, other than charge size. It should also decrease the size of the attack except for basic attacks like blast.
Zorpheus:
Disabling high consumption spells/skills. (Also disabled spells/skills could be given a activation failure effect, such as magic shattering, gunpower fail (for guns), self harming for melee weapons, etc
Disabling High comsumption Magic infused fighting style skills.
Rather than disabling them, they should just do less damage. Any spell can be performed if you know how and you have some amount of magic energy.
