I’d try doing some i0 dark sea runs so you can get exotic scrolls easily, the islands are SUPER common like you’ll see another before you leave where you are and the Atlanteans are pretty weak
this is something i would likely run since this wouldn’t be too hard to get
or this since it wouldn’t be that bad with regen
Ya that doesn’t have anything to do with what I said, people can enjoy something they can agree is bad.
People can also do things they do not enjoy, according to your logic if you don’t enjoy responding to me, you wouldn’t respond
Placed explosion spamming
That first build sucks because you lack both defense and power, this means you lack power to effectively take out the enemy and you’ll be perpetually stuck in defense until you get killed, which you opted to ditch for Regen (aka killing you even faster).
(I messed up the reply, wrong person lol meant to direct this at the girl with the pink anime profile picture with the regen)
are you trolling
Because we’re addicted and the unknown of the alternative is scary
addition to this post, here are some budget builds anybody should be able to get. I really strongly recommend getting something like one of these to everyone, pvper or not.
Budget Speed
Approximate Cost: 5k per Hasty Enchant, 2k per boss drop, ~35k galleons if you just bought it flat. I do not recommend doing this, bosses are easy to grind.
Budget Size
Approximate Cost: 4k per Explosive Enchant, 3k per Calvus drop, nothing for the defense amulet (2k if you want a modified one highly recommend drowned because cheap), ~32k galleons if you just bought it flat. I do not recommend doing this, bosses are easy to grind.
Jewelcrafting is also super cheap just get the jewels and some cheap reagents and get a friend with perfect to craft them for you.
no i am not trolling. i’ve been screwed for a while
okay.
In that case, some small advice, for your circumstances. I’m guessing you have lots of dark sea drops seeing how you have theurgist/vatrachos on your builds, so I’ll be focusing on those.
Generally, avoid drawback at all costs. Especially as a beginner, drawback will make it much harder to win pvp matches and will also make your life as a pve player harder.
Unless your file is a vitality file with at least 270 regen, anything more than 3 drawback is unmanageable. Even with those healing stats, I would not use more than 4. With 4 drawback, you are taking 56 damage with every attack.
Theurgist is useful for dark sea runs and swimming builds, but I strongly recommend against not using it for pve or pvp elsewhere. Theugist is a fairly inefficient armor item.
I also do not recommend using insanity as a beginner, because it’ll distract you and make it harder to focus. It really is not worth the extra stats until you’re more familiar with fighting.
Unfortunately, as things are right now, unless you have a very powerful “meta” build, exotic scrolls are necessary to fight pvpers. They constitute ~25% of all your stats, and rare scrolls are only half their effectiveness. The easiest to get that are actually useful are Hasty and Explosive scrolls. They sell for about 5k galleons each.
You mentioned earlier that you like using energy regen musgravites. While they do make life easier, musgravites are a poor choice unless you are making a diving set. Energy regen is a low priority.
In summary, you should try to acquire Cernyx armor (he’s a 1/7 boss so it shouldn’t be too tough) and exotic scrolls, as well as Candelaria gems.
You can also use Dark Bronze armor. However, the most useful piece of the set are the boots, because Cernyx boots are oddly very inefficient. The rest of the Dark Bronze set is less efficient than Cernyx.
nah i just trade i don’t often go to dark sea because i end up switching builds fast because i don’t have one i like.
if it’s a warden build, consider using Oracle armor which you can easily find in chests, it scales very well with vitality
run max size build
If you have the value (You do not) this is a very viable build for most speedy classes without any need for magic & such
Btw the efficiency points are gonna be off because of Warding, so here’s a similar build to compare it to (that does use glass arcsphere)
(this build has ~2.5 more efficiency points than the first build not including warding)
You can also modify this for size or whatever you want to, but be careful with the atlantean essences as they can change depending on what gems/enchants/armor they’re applied to
it is very possible to enjoy games that aren’t perfect. we like things because we are able to see past their flaws. if the flaws are too great (for you), you don’t like it.
im very sure there are games you play that have a few things that bother you, but you play the game anyway
savant
jack of all trades, <-tf am i suppose to do with this information
all rounder
oh yeah, surely those times that i got spawnkilled at sailors by a 6 digit bounty player would definitely give me some information to learn!
counterpoint: people who want to pvp instead of hunters are pretty difficult to come by
cant.
dont think theyre gonna take too kindly for me hunting them + they get backup + i get witchhunted by them and possibly their clan + highly likely someone puts a headless as bounty on my head even if i manage to kill them
why does the first build have 39 intensity tho
lots of cope in this reply ngl
all rounder gear loadout is NOT good because you sacrifice too much for anything to be even decent
what was the point of saying this? obviously i meant in actually pvp 1v1s
ur counterpoint is just wrong, i literally gave you a resource to find people
more cope like bruh i swear it is not that hard
well duh, hunting people is supposed to not be “nice”
also slippery slope fallacy, theres a good chance of none of this happening
but you said it yourself…
you said get cooked, you never specified how
where.
how am i suppose to know when the opponement is going to attack?
theres a good chance, but not a 100% chance
