i’ve never tried it because it looks pretty tough, some advice would be helpful

Some people would say castrum is best when soloed
I would say best when duo
You get double the manpower and only a 15 level increase
From that point, the benefit gained per person decreases untill it gets negative and actively becomes more difficult
Also, when you’re down the other person can stall-attack for as long as possible (kill the enemies within the last minute before the fort resets) so you can get back
7 now
its 14 with 3 people so triple the manpower and only a 14 level increase
+you get an extra 2 chests per person now so it’ll be an extra 4 chests and triple the manpower and only a 14 level increase
Don’t be boring, rally the entire server or your clan for an epic siege
as warrior, siren bow + sunken staff
T jump when using AOE abilities because the npcs only take damage if theres line of sight

I use enhanced culverins (I think) to lower the defenses since with it you can hit the fort while they can’t hit you
Correct, but Warship Iron Culverins do the job much better

-solo is fun, but more enjoyable when you nab some friends
-not too hard overall but can take some time
-first part you want to circle the island with your ship and fire at it with your cannons and whatnot (they will fire back heavy, so good to be either fast, strong, or far)
when the actual thing starts you run in and just kill a bunch of waves of enemies, if you’re weak jump on the roof of the building (far enough where enemy attacks that somehow target you are super reactable) and if there’s a stray enemy you can’t find either use a revealing potion or be sure to look at the different nooks and crannies (typically stuck in a wall but still visible)
if i understand right if you take too long on any one wave it’ll reset back to where you need to use your ship to weaken the defenses again, but i don’t know the exact timing or if it’s true (i got thrown out on the last wave once, and another time i was walking on the sky)
