How to claim silverhold?

I have gone to silverhold and used my flag, but the bar never goes up. I tried being a criminal and it didn’t work either. How do you claim it?

Influence needs to be like 20% or below to capture
Also it gets bugged if somebody has already gotten it

Basically, influence is how much power the gravy have in that said sea.

And no, you can’t, only gravy players can see the influence.

To lower the influence, you just need to kill alot of marines (what I remember)

Issue: just as well as every navy member killed lowers influence, every single pirate ship sunk and pirate killed and assassin killed ect ect ect ect raises influence.
