do you think speed is important for dark sea or should i invest in stability more? ( i can have like 100 speed max but only 52% stability lol )
Personally I plan on veering more towards high HP and Stability rather than speed. Rn it’s hard to say how important speed will be, while stability will definitely be a must-have
How much stability would be safe to aim for? I have enough fame on my main for all rookie and some good deckhands, so I’ve been debating on whether to let go of my two speed and one ram dmg deckhands to find stability ones before I reset my fame (tired of being hunted).
From what I’ve heard, current rough seas are essentially negated at 85% stability. I think something like that is attainable with a brig without too much focus on stability deckhands
Rough seas will be less severe until further in the sea I believe, but you also have to account for not only current dangerous weather (whirlpools/tornadoes) being more common but also new weather like hurricanes and magical weather (light rain making us blind 24/7 yay).
I really doubt that the Dark Sea will need 80%+ stability at all parts
The golden shower
since the brig grants 75% base stability it should be fine to ignore stability deckhands at first. of course the brig also has one more deckhand slot.
79% on ketch works, and is also possible without any deckhands
well excluding having the best ship parts probably getting some good deckhands (if your decent at pvp) or praying they get a rework (if you dont like pvp)
you can just farm npc bounties for about 2000 bounty/renown if they have more than 100,000 bounty. This works best with rivals.
So… 20K galleons.
1 mil fame(nooooooo Vetex nerffed npcs)
HP deckhands, currently I have 2, who give around 1k HP each. The other is a magic storage Deckhand cuz the ketch doesn’t have enough to continuously fire magic balls with just cannons and no ram.
Not sure about the brig though, it’s got 12(13?) cannons on each side, meaning lots of magic usage, even if u got the ram.
That’s about it
about 3 resilience deckhands 1 speed deckhand redwake crew and then the usual things like kenton, swift hemp sail, swift reinforced wooden hulls, etc
you really don’t need more than 100k fame to get speed deckhands, 1 million fame only gives 1 or 2 more speed per deckhand.
I think I’m ready
is that without a brig?
Yep, brig should be able to go over 110% easily
who needs any other stat when you can have 111 speed and a swift light ram
i feel like as soon as it hits 100% it wont be able to go any higher
