Security flaws have all marred this game for years, even as far back as when it was still known as World of Magic.
Players don’t like it when cheaters can steal everything from their inventory using exploits, or when a regular update causes catastrophic data loss at an unprecedented scale.
The former shouldn’t have even be possible in a post-FE ecosystem, and the latter could have easily just been reverted if development had the foresight to implement rollback infrastructure.
In it’s current state, the game does not deserve a playercount much larger than what it has right now.
On a positive note however, the upcoming Occlusion Culling feature should help tremendously with performance.
very underrated now but i feel like most fans of the genre on roblox know what the game is, dont forget ao had like 80k players on release
Underrated when compared to other Roblox games? Very.
Underrated in general? Not really, I find its average player count to be standard for its quality, content, early access state, etc. It’s more that other Roblox games are extremely ‘overrated’ so to speak due to how Roblox users don’t know any better, are physically incapable of accurate analysis, and are filled with micro plastics, poor parenting, etc.
