How would one get from the Seven Seas to the War Seas?

And vice versa. Randall did it, presumably a few select others did too long ago. If there’s nothing connecting the two, what would have to be done?

I propose some kind of Portal travel, or flight. Travelling via ship probably would take way too long, and is dangerous due to the existence of the Dark Sea. If we ASSUME that the Seven Seas have a Dark Sea (They probably do, it’s sorta implied by ghosts of sailors and pirates. We as The Peacekeeper just never had a reason to go there.), then Randall COULD’VE gone through it, but I HIGHLY doubt it. It’s just improbable, based off what people in-universe say and of what we know about it. Even an experienced curse user would face major adversities.

Same way how John Thorne and his followers went from the War Seas to the Seven Seas, and them settling down in the 6th Sea.

Make some real sturdy boat(s) and hope you and your traveling group make it out into another Sea Cluster.

(Assuming that John Thorne and them moving from the War Seas to the Sixth Sea in the Seven Seas is still a thing. Can’t find it anymore on the Lore Doc, which makes sense ig considering Magius isn’t canon anymore.)

The entire world is effectively Dark Sea unless you’re in a Sea Cluster, like the Seven Seas, War Seas, Old Sea, etc iirc. So the Seven Seas has the Dark Sea surrounding them yeah.

Randal would most likely be fine considering that Averil managed to circumnavigate the Globe a bit later down the line. But its not implausible that the hazardous environment of the Dark Sea would pose some challenges.

With the main thing being them having to contend with their method of transportation staying up, and not falling into the Irradiated Ocean as likely stinging Irradiated rain falls down on you.

i mean if we can sail all the way to the epicenter i think sailing across the world isnt out of the question

i do wonder if curse users have some kind of immunity to alot of the stuff in the dark sea, or maybe because the rain is basically like the sea water they might explode

the rain might be similar because the dark sea is literally magic chernobyl so the rain should be supercharged with magic too

the epicenter is around Britain, which yes, is very far from Greece, but nowhere near as far from Greece as north america

tbh i forgot that the epicenter was in britain, sounds about accurate tbh

I mean every lore relevant character is british so why not :skull:

sailing
how else did you think? by plane?

Well, no, duh. Planes don’t and can’t exist yet. I was thinking flying as in with Magic, or by being an experienced Curse user. Julian can fly, or at least launch himself. Floating in mid-air is a thing after all, at least in gameplay. One could train themselves to fly fast and far.

well
leap spell exists
one could possibly have leap spell, but have it be like
continuously propelling them, instead of a one-time thing
to create enough propulsion to counteract gravity, and fly

averill sailed (around the whole world may I add, not necessarily to the War Seas)

My headcanon is that Randall can just pseudo-teleport between seas as he pleases. Like, maybe he can just channel himself into a tree in the seven seas and then share his stories by speaking to others telepathically.

He could theoretically do that but that would mean he is 100% controlled his curse fully and is able to use it with immense strength, and since the seven seas is on the other side of the world this could mean that it would take him VERY long to do that, but since he has gray hair and looks old it might be his age…

of course britain is a massive smoking crater with an atrocious rainstorm that burns your flesh off at all times and you’re insane to the point of death and its full of horrific monsters :sob:

So no change?

ao britain:
horrible monsters on land
being there drives you insane to the point of death
always rainy

real britain:
horrible monsters in peoples mouths: teeth
being there drives you insane, not quite to the point of death tho
always rainy

legit barely any difference

Randal I totally believe. He’s an extremely old and thus very strong curse user. Not to mention he basically has the Wood Curse + Extra, so like Wotan he could construct his own ship to sail the Dark Sea with, and easily repair it as it sails, making it virtually unsinkable.

Good luck trying to sail from the seven seas to the war seas since you will easily get lost in dark sea and eventually lose yourself to unstable magic energy and make you insane eventually mutated into atlantean
