Is it possible to get a sunken sword without fishing for hours to get one? I’d prefer to spend my time actually playing the game than to fish my hours away.

if someone has a sunken sword chances are they aren’t getting scammed
they might if they’re only 5th gen

if you get enough boss drops or rare scrolls you might be able
There’s 3 routes you can pick
a) grind a shitton of boss drops and keep compressing them until you can afford a sunken sword
b) skip grinding bosses and fish up enough sunkens till you can trade up for a sword if you havent caught one already
c) get lucky and lowball someone in game who has one (this is the easiest but least reliable and rare way)
I traded for mine easily because I own a very sizable clan. Moral of the story is use clout to trade up B).
youd be surprised at the amount of randoms asking on discord whats a sunken sword/armor and if they should sell it (yes, for galleons)

I’ve seen a bunch of people who just fished up the sunken sword and sold it for like a quarter of its value. Sucks how common it is.
