also you just described almost every anime:
long ass seasons
same opening until a new season drops(although the music in the opening is the same, the soundtrack of the anime always changes and stays top tier)
why should the narrator change?

I spent 4 episodes listening too long narration until things started to get moving 
stop the cap, the narration is only there to go over what’s happening
Maybe in season 1, but I skipped season 1 and went straight to heavens arena(because that’s when things get cracking)

Yeah, because rewatching season one is pointless after watching it one time. After you watch s1 and the mini arc for killua, your free to go straight to heavens arena since you probably already remember all the old s1 characters.
Also, I’ve rewatched HXH 3x, this my 4th time, and I’m preparing to read the manga next.
