Well this is terrible news honestly. Hopefully he’ll reconsider or actually put some thought into how warlocks struggle to match up to other build types right now. They’re the build type with the most restrictions on available content for the amount of stat points available of any build type that doesn’t have access to any weapon enchantments or relic imbues. As a result of having no weapon/relic enchantments for imbue stats they have some of the worst multipliers as well putting them definitely somewhere among the 3 weakest build types in the game, only berserkers and mages having worse stat multipliers. With how they’re just generally less effective at both close and long range combat compared to their pure counterparts, warlocks probably are the single weakest build type even. Enchantments, rare/lost abilities, ultimate abilities, and especially weapons are just that strong. Thankfully at least some scroll requirements were lowered for everyone recently but it still didn’t feel quite like enough and it doesn’t directly address the warlock build type issue.
FYI my main save slot is a warlock and I’ve tried literally every build type at this point so I’m somewhat of an authority on how rough things are for warlocks. Every other build type just feels stronger outright.
