Ooh, getting other renown titles without fearing about the PvP would be quite cool! Though there’d likely need to be some major differences from PvE titles and PvP titles to make the PvP ones still worth getting

I want the option to change our character torso on the character customization either from starting a new slot or tailor.
If NPC can have different torso such as female torso with any clothes, I should too be allowed to have that as well.
Add that I also make the female torso model for some of the female NPC’s too.
This, as well as just general enhanced customisation. I want makeup, I want scars, etc. Outfit creation is one of my favourite parts of this game.

The current combat system is quite outdated and sloppy in many regards. Even though I still prefer its combat system to games like Deepwoken, bloodborne, and sekiro like games, it is probably my bias talking as I find AO more enjoyable then most other games.
That said, AO’s combat is unoriginal, repetitive, and often feels neither immersive nor rewarding. I think incorporating cinematic, cutscene like animations (similar to those in battleground games) could make combat more engaging and introduce fresh mechanics, something both PvE and PvP players will likely appreciate.
For example, one idea off the top of my head: if you deal an outstanding amount of damage to a target who’s already below 10% HP,say your hit exceeds their remaining health by a large margin (like 80% of their total HP), it could trigger a special finisher animation.
Or you have obtained a special scroll or item that when you are doing maybe some lost magics animation, an arcane oddsey character like zeus’s avatar will smite the target.
Also parrying in AO is miserable and hand to hand combat is terrible. Also, a revamp on the atlanteans will be MUCH appreciated. Maybe doing some atlanteans grotesque like this in the image may help making the game feels more realistic and responsive. Currently, all atlanteans are just a sligtly enlarged animals headed people, not scary or interesting at all.

This technically already exists, if you hit someone with a strong enough magic attack they turn black and disintegrate
