Are you able to successfully sink pirate ships with it (and getting full rewards for it)
I’ll answer this for him, yes. Cannon Fist does full damage to all types of ships and gives you loot as if you sunk it with your own cannons. Just be careful not to kill the crew before you can take the ship down.

I looted a ton of sailor chests before switching to Cannon fist so now I have a ton of balls (1k+) I can throw but I’d probably need to start buying balls after I get low on balls
