ok ok here me out, i have two things to say. weapon imbuement, and magic weapons.
Weapon imbuement
okay, so this is the stupidest idea that i’ve been holdin on to, so lemme know if it is a funny idea.
weapon imbuement is what Warlords or Conjs (and future savants) will recieve after their first awakening. it is when you imbue Magic/fighting styles with weapons. basically, you can imbue fire magic, with commodore Kai’s sabre. or you can imbue thermo fist with the lance of loyalty. this awakening is when conj’s put more stat points into magic, and when warlords put more stat points into strength. pretty stupid right? but think about how good of a troll that could be for first time AO players.
the second idea is kind of a similar version of spirit weapons, but slightly different.
if you are a mage or a conj with more stats in magic (forget the last idea, this is different), after your first or second awakening, you can recreate weapons with your magic. basically you can pull out commodore kai’s sabre out of a magic circle or there can be a slot where you can mix and match different weapon parts, or change it into a different state of matter, you can make it look more liquid, more solid or make it look like it’s a gas. the only reason this is stupid, is the fact that this is just ineffective in so many ways. first off, depending on your magic, your damage will be very different compared to the actual weapon, and (this is just a thought) you need to actually own the weapon you wanna create with magic in order to use it. alright im very lazy with these.
verdict: these are both stupid ideas, change it however you want in the comments
The stat point system already misled some people into thinking that they’re mostly stat increases rather than something that’s actually used to unlock skills and determine builds. I believe that’s enough trolling for first time AO players.
This, in a way, is already planned. Only thing is that they’ll be binded to spells rather than a whole unique skillset.
