I don’t hate the game. I will admit that it’s enjoyable on the surface. It’s “unique” compared to the other roblox tower defense games that came before it. All towers have unique attacks and…
That’s the only good thing I have to say about it.
You obtain units through a gacha. You didn’t misread that, a Gacha.

Anyway, you know what this means? RNG.
Costs 450 gems to multi summon, 50 to summon once. <------ See the marketing tactic used here?
I won’t even explain how the RNG here is bad, we’re WoM players so we know this better than anyone. If you’re luck is doodoo then say goodbye to progression as 5 stars become necessary the further you go on.
That’s really all I have to say about the game itself, we’ve seen this stuff before.
tl;dr The game is RNG based and is a cash grab, It’s community is annoying too (will explain). However, the game isn’t as bad as a simulator and can be enjoyable sometimes.
The community
We thought our discord was bad, but it’s chill compared to what i’m about to describe.
The Suggestions Channel
The existence of this channel alone has made me understand why suggestions are not allowed to be made by randoms on vetex’s server.
People keep spamming the same ideas over and over with a 15 minute slowmode. As if that helps.
One common thing that’s spammed is “AdD TrAdIng”.
I don’t think these people realize how Fucked ASTD would become if trading became a thing there. All trading would do is allow for-
- Scamming
- People begging for free 5 stars by dressing up as noobs
- Alt farming
- Game becomes adopt me and just gets centered around trading
- “Social experiment” youtube videos where the youtuber dresses up as a noob and begs for free stuff to test peoples “morals”.
- “EpiC 5 StAr GiveAwAy Sub2mE”
And more. Hell, the idea of trading was shotdown by one of the devs of the game a while ago, yet people spam it like no tomorrow.

The ASTD Community cannot make up it’s mind on what needs to be buffed and what shouldn’t.
To sell the point i’m trying to make here, i’ll describe a recent situation with one of the newly added characters.
Nezuko was added as a 4 star…And She OutClasses 5 Stars. Does 500+ damage to bleeding targets.

Alot of people just feel like their entitled to OP shit, but the moment something is OP they cry “NERF NERF NERF”. Another example of this is when they added Mihawk from one piece to the game. Undoubtedly the best 5 star in the game as of now (has lower attack than nez but has AOE and insane range).
He’s expensive to place and max and his AOE is narrow so if you place him wrong on the map, rip you.
This balances out his overall good performance, and people have been asking for stronger units for a while since the current stages are hellish to get through. People even suggested 6 star units. But want to know what the community had to say about mihawk?
Ungrateful.
This is contradictory to how their community normally acts. They usually spam BufF pAiN or BufF zEniTsu. Both of them got buffed in the update damage wise, but the community was not satisfied for some reason.
Their reasoning for pain needing to be buffed was because he blew up a village, one of the lines from their copypasta says “blowing up the leaf village does not equal 110 damage, buff pain”. Pain does 190+ damage now, and people still aren’t satisfied.
Mihawk can cut a ship in half without even trying so why are you even upset about his power?
Frieza can blow up a planet and does 112 damage.
And no one asks for him to get a buff. This community confuses me.
General Chat
The ASTD General chat is chill…Until An Update Happens. I know our discord gets super spammy whenever there is an update too, but there’s just SOMETHING about this server that’s worse that vetex’s server.
In yesterdays update, the chat got shutdown since spamming was through the roof. Other than that, I haven’t seen any moderator action in general chat.
It’s like daycare in text form, they spam whatever whenever and get away with it. Right now it’s not bad, but the rules there are just loosely enforced.
But when we start talking about codes? Man the community acts as if their ENTITLED to codes:
