NPCs don’t actively hunt you, nor was it ever mentioned that they will do that.
Yet you just used that nonexistent feature to say that PvP servers deserve higher drop rates
PvP servers should be for PvPing, not PvEing

this is true but the issue is hard mode makes the PVE harder, while this instead puts PVP alongside PVE. It’s like if minecraft hard mode didnt change any enemies but let players join you to kill you instead

i do understand where youre coming from but AO isnt supposed to be a game where pve and pvp are equal/connected in the same gameplay (atleast not anymore, i know it felt like pvp was supposed to be this way simply due to early access)

yeah i think clan members being forced to always have pvp enabled is unnecessary, they should be able to turn it off in non-clan servers (whether this should come at a cost like no infamy gain/no claims i think is debateable. it just depends what you want clans and guilds to be, though the current plan seems to be clans for primarily pvp purposes and guilds for entirely pve. In that case I think no infamy gain + no claiming would be the most likely scenario)

we need dedicated pvp death match servers (not elysiums) so we dont have to spend an hour finding people who want to pvp

and no one above 300k renown can even use the toggle anyways. Might have been changed to 250k though considering this: image

I have ignored every post and I shall now commence a statement that is going to be so very wrong: Suck it up snowflake :nerd_face:

Looking at the patch notes, guilds are basically clans but better, no need to spend money on walls or defenses because pvp will be off anyway.

So whats the point of clans outside of being on some leaderboard? What reward do you get for putting yourself at risk like that?

Was there any though ? I’ve always seen it like a flex, and guilds seem to be about the same

Barracks are useful to everyone, not just PvPers, and keeps don’t even have a purpose other than decoration.
Why can’t we just take away the functionality of defenses for guilds at least (leave barracks out though) and let them build freely?
