I don't think pve clans should exist

If it’s a low infamy clan you wouldn’t be getting much from them even more so if they don’t have an Island claimed that you can take over for a chunk of infamy.

Or maybe with the fleet system we can have a “Fleet Base” which every player has. That home base is something where you fleet congregates and uses as a headquarters, and is separate from the main map. There we can just have a MHW styled system where we can order some staff on the base to grow certain reagents. We have to give them first, and reach a fleet/base level for higher tier ones though. This’ll happen passively and ofc, like MHW, we can pay up galleons or something to boost production.

PVE clans SHOULD exist, here’s how:

  1. Adding an owner-only switch in the clan menu
    This switch wouldn’t be able to be used if a player from another clan is in the building range of your claimed island and if you are in combat.
  2. Changing PVE clan island claiming objectives
    Clans will be able to place down guard houses that can be used to hire NPCs to fight against invading PVE clan members.
    2.1 Hired NPCs will be the only humanoids to hinder island contests when a raid led by/against a PVE clan occurs.
    2.2 While a PVE clan is raided/raiding, PVP will be disabled on the contested island so that PVP does not occur.

But shouldn’t pvpers be able to contest your claim on an island as, that is the innate point of island claiming.

How does my suggestion stop PVP clans from invading PVE clans?

How would a PvP clan be able to take a pve clan claim if they aren’t able to kill the pve clan members on the island. Plus the idea of guards for claimed island is a plan vetex plays for islands later anyways.

So your idea would be that you’d have to kill guard NPCs to be able to claim their island?

Even though I believe that idea is all ready planned by vetex id have to check to confirm.

Yeah while an older post I don’t image too much would charge from this plus I do think it would be overall simple that clans don’t force you into PvP (beside infamy being high or island claiming) would also mean anyone can use guards to defend their base while also defending it them selves
