I HATE these Savant mains bro

I’ve been doing more PvP lately and every single time I keep running into these metamancing Savant mains with their 20000 different skills and they just spam everything until I die.

How on earth did this get past the balance team? Why is there a class in the game which can use the skills from EVERY SINGLE other class in the game? It’s so versatile there’s literally no counterplay. You try to rush them down, they’ll counter with an on-demand melee from one of their weapons like Shining Cycle. You try to zone them, they have magic too. If you try to run, they’ve got strength and they can just rush you down. No class is fun to play against Savant, because whatever you do they’ll just counter you.

It doesn’t end there either. All of these dirty Savant mains have more tricks up their sleeve than you could possibly imagine. I ran into one yesterday who was running Ash + Ice, which sounds stupid until you realize HE WAS RUNNING 99% RESISTANCE BUILD TO SPREAD CLOUDS WITH UNPUNISHABLE BEAM BARRAGES. Rushing him down and chasing him through the clouds would be impossible, you are NOT winning a melee fight against an immortal Savant with their 40 melee skills, and if I tried to zone he just aimed those beam barrages at me and always won because he couldn’t take damage. I ran into another earlier today who used like 300 agility and just spammed every single mobility skill in his kit straight upwards and flew away. How was I supposed to counter that??? Just when I thought he was gone he came back down with a fully charged smash that did 500 damage with a giant AOE because of how far he was falling and then he true comboed me with Rushdown and autoclicker plunderers. One time I tried powermaxxing to just obliterate a Savant with the first use of a Magic Attack before he could adapt, AND HE BLOCKED IT WITH A WAR SHIELD. WHY CAN THEY USE THOSE? IT TAKES LIKE 200 WEAPONS!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m growing sick of this. I hate fighting a trickster class that knows your every move and wields the counters to every strategy. Everywhere I go, all I see is these Savant mains. They’re flooding elysiums, every leaderboard player has like 5 on hand to summon for backup, and even random casuals are beginning to pick the class up. If something isn’t done soon, the PvP in this game will be cooked forever.

You do realize Savant is the hardest to manage class, right?
Sure they have 5 gajillion options, but that costs them in size scaling, and they have to juggle 6 different sets of skills.

Because that’s like saying you need to understand how an engine works in order to drive a car. You don’t need to learn how it works to use a car.
(but generally it’s better to understand how a car works)

As for why bro can use war shield, he can only use the block and not the abilities

who the hell needs size when you can just aim?
(I never run above 50 size tbh and that size is only from my sunken iron since I don’t have sunken warrior yet)

Hey at least give them some credit where it’s due they’re probably really good because doing savant is like balancing three plates on your nose. You gotta be constantly micromanaging and checking so everything is righht

Savants usually are underestimated because of how poor their scaling is.

If we invest in vit, we don’t even have spirit imbue to counteract the damage loss.

You see, I use the most basic of very simple and basic savant builds and can still beat people badly.

It’s hard man. When you’re at most dealing 200 damage per hit with your build that looks as horrendous as mine.

I legitimately do not have any tricks up my sleeve other than sheer adaptation.

I only use 50 weapons to trade it off for 100 strength and 120 magic
(forgot I had 100 str for a sec)
