Savants are going to have the highest attack size in the game too, which is all the more reasons to hate them.
An explosion-imbued dense lion’s halberd/lance of loyalty is going to have a base size affinity of 2.209, pair that with the equipment that results in the highest attack size possible (629) and you’re getting projectiles with 4.115× the base size (post-affinity, I think. I used Affinity×(AttackSize%/100+1) and I don’t know if it’s right). That’s a striking gale with a size of 88.53 (post-tier calculation), 115.09 if fully charged.

Note that I did not account for the added weight of colossal cleaver weapons, so it should be a bit bigger.
Not actually though, sailords will be getting 4.271× the base size and a tiny bit more tier scaling, resulting in a striking gale of 92.57 size, 120.34 if fully charged.
you forgot to take attack tiers into account, I think sailord is still slightly bigger
ngl this is why i never got how worse size scaling was a nerf, especially with stuff like tempered scroll (not gonna be doing splash damage so might as well lower size even more) or piercing shot (splash damage literally doesn’t exist). it effectively just turns savants into sniper classes, which isn’t inherent to the idea of “master of all”.
i’d think it would be better if pure or 2-way hybrids could pick between a slight size, attack speed, or damage buff to their moves. i don’t know why investing into a stat means your attacks specifically increase in SIZE.
of course the time when it was planned for savant to deal 50% damage with all moves was a bad idea, but what if savant had the same size as pure classes, but pure classes could get a 15% damage or 20% attack size buff?
