I have a theory that durza/acheron intentionally missed that explosion to kickstart the first dark sea.
he had to use it so early on because if not, he’d get killed by the hero.
so, durza is probably in a decayed state like this.
he is missing his bottom half because he is injured
anyway, the order of aesir is actually collecting curse users, as we know.
so they could resurrect durza using curses to recreate the dark sea, a second dark sea.
we can theorise that the first one was a failure because of how it only covered most of the world.
this is my theory to how the order of aiser big boss looks like
they’d want create the second impact- I mean dark sea but better so they could reset everyone into a primordial state.
so that he could remeet his dead wife
after the second explosion, everyone would be crawling back and evolving, with or without life curse like the player in arcane adventures, this time everything would be perfect.
